BLOG TOUR: STONE OF THIEVES

STONE OF THIEVES (Robbin Hearts #2) by DIANE J. REED
Published: May 8th, 2014
Publisher: Bandits Ranch Books, LLC

The Stone of Thieves . . . for centuries its magnetic draw has twisted the hearts of ambitious men and women with the promise of power, passion, and intrigue until it fell into the hands of unlikely thieves Robin and her boyfriend Creek. But can they steal their destiny away from the curse that pursues this magnificent ruby heart?

As the stone begins to spread its sorcery, Robin races to find her long-lost mother in Italy in the hopes of discovering the truth about her unique gypsy heritage and the ruby heart that is rumored to steal souls. Yet when the desire for this stone by powerful members of her family threatens their very lives, Creek decides to take matters into his own hands to protect Robin, his greatest treasure of all . . .

Stone of Thieves is a sensual, stand-alone new adult novel and the sequel to Robin in the Hood in the Robbin’ Hearts Series. Due to mature themes, readership is advised for ages 17+.

I devored this book!

Stones of Thieves picks up right where Robin in The Hood left of, on a plane to Venice, and from there you can tell that the heart ruby, Robin and Creek found in book 1 is more magical than what we've seen so far.

Robin is determined to find her mom and for whatever outcome that may have and Creek will help her no matter what. This search puts them in a lot of danger and I think it was very mature of both of them to continue knowing the consecuences, because you see this two are well aware of the fact that they can die in the hands of this unknown enemy at any minute.

I loved to see how much this characters have grown. Robin is far from the girl we met at the beggining of book 1 and Creek has learn to trust in someone else again.
The relationship between the two is perfect. They are in complete synch with each other. And it is one of the more important aspects of the story, even though the Stone is always present.

Another thing I really enjoyed here was the gypsy culture. Like I say before, magic here is bigger and while Granny Tinker gives us a bit of magic in book 1, the Stone, Italy and gypsy people in this book bring magic to a whole new level. Robin keeps discovering new things about herself she had no idea and this journey is sure to keep the reader entertained and glue to the pages.

This book is darker from the beggining, the stakes this times are higher, and the love is more intense. With a male character like Creek, and this book going into NA territory, you can expects some great sexy times!

I really can't wait to see how this story turns out.
